Pontiac Lake, in Waterford, Michigan, hosted the 10th annual Quake on the Lake celebration over the July 18-20 weekend. APBA hydroplane races and Malibu Open waterski/wakeboard championships were the marquee events.
Wakeboarding opened with the winningest female in the sport, Dallas Friday, and South Africa's Nicola Butler. The men followed with the likes of Gerry Nunn, Aaron Rathy, and New Zealand's Jeff Weatherall.
